Vesuvius plc announces that Douglas Hurt, the senior independent non-executive director of Vesuvius plc, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Countryside Properties PLC with effect from 1 January 2018.

This notification is made in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
