Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, announces that Neill Ricketts, the Company's Chief Executive Officer has notified the Company that on 4 January 2017 he sold the 250,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), that he acquired through the exercise of share options in December 2017, at a price of 61.5 pence per Ordinary Share.
Following this transaction, further detailed below, Mr Ricketts' interest in the share capital of the Company is now 15,375,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 10.36 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Mr Ricketts is further interested in 278,720 options exercisable at 12.25 pence per share together with 2,626,614 options exercisable at 15 pence per share and 1,050,761 options exercisable at 29 pence per share.
