Acquisition

Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, today announces that it has acquired the tools and telehandler fleet of UCS Plant Limited, part of Rand Group Limited ("Rand"), for a consideration of £0.9m.

In addition, Vp has entered into a three year sole supply agreement with Rand's subsidiaries UCS Civils and Linpave Building to hire a range of tools and other specialist equipment.

The acquired business will be located at Rand Group's premises near Lincoln.

Jeremy Pilkington, Chairman of Vp plc commented:
