Vietnam Infrastructure Limited08 May 2008 Vietnam Infrastructure Limited Transaction in Own Shares Vietnam Infrastructure Limited ("the Company" or "VNI") announces that today theCompany purchased 75,000 Ordinary Shares of US$1.00 each at an average price ofUS$0.81 per share through a wholly-owned subsidiary. The purchased shares willbe held to effectively replicate a treasury share facility. Following this transaction, the Company holds 255,700 Ordinary Shares in atreasury share facility. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue, excludingshares held in the treasury share facility, is 401,844,300 and therefore thetotal number of voting rights in the Company is 401,844,300.
