Notice of EGM
On 29 April 2015, the Company announced that it was proposing an amendment to the restructuring proposals that were outlined in the circular to Shareholders dated 21 November 2014. The Board is proposing that up to 50% of the Listed Portfolio Shares will be repurchased at the First Repurchase Day not 33.3% of the Listed Portfolio Shares as was set out in the original restructuring proposals. Such an amendment requires the consent of VNI Shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting and the Company is pleased to announce that the circular in relation to the amended restructuring proposals has today been posted to Shareholders and published on the Company's website (www.vinacapital.com/vni/).
The circular contains notice of the extraordinary general meeting of the Company to be convened in connection with the amended restructuring proposals, which is to be held at Conrad Hotel, One Pacific Place, Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Hong Kong on 19 June 2015 at 3.00 p.m. (Hong Kong Time).
The Board unanimously recommends that Shareholders vote in favour of the resolutions to be passed at the extraordinary general meeting.
Terms have the same meaning as defined in the circular to shareholders dated 21 November 2014 (the "Circular").
