Director PDMR Shareholding

Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on 27 January 2012, Mike McTighe, Chairman, purchased 1,000 ordinary shares of the Company, par value £0.25 ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 248 pence.

This purchase represents 0.0016% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. With this purchase, Mr McTighe now holds a total of 107,000 Ordinary Shares of Volex plc, representing in aggregate 0.17% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
