DIRECTORATE CHANGES

The Board of Volex Group plc today announces that Andrew Cherry has accepted the full time appointment of Group Finance Director with immediate effect.

Andrew, aged 41, joined the Company on 5 January 2009 as Interim Finance director. Andrew was previously Chief Financial Officer for SpinVox Limited and, prior to that, held a number of executive positions including that of Chief Financial Controller of Vodafone UK, Chief Financial Officer of Cable & Wireless Jamaica Ltd and Chief Financial Officer of GoIndustry Plc. He has also held positions in B.A.T. plc, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Andrew holds an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and has a Bachelors degree in Physics.
