Victrex plc - Director Declaration

Victrex plc, an innovative world leader in high performance polymer solutions, has been notified that Janet Ashdown, a Non-Executive Director of the Company and Chair of the Remuneration Committee, has accepted a nomination to be a Non-Executive Director to the Board of RHI Magnesita N.V. (LSE:RHIM), a FTSE 250 listed global leading supplier of high-grade refractory products, systems and solutions. 

Janet's responsibilities at Victrex remain unchanged. Her career includes working for BP plc for over 30 years, holding a number of international positions. Until the end of 2012, Janet was Chief Executive Officer of Harvest Energy Ltd. Her other Board roles include the UK's Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, SIG plc and Marshalls plc, where she is Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
