UNITED UTILITIES GROUP PLC PAUL HEIDEN - OTHER DIRECTORSHIPS

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, United Utilities Group PLC reports the appointment of Paul Heiden as a non-executive director of Meggitt PLC with effect from 3 June 2010 and as a non-executive director of London Stock Exchange Group PLC with effect from 4 June 2010.
