Uranium Resources PLC25 January 2008 Uranium Resources plc / Market: AIM / Epic: URA / Sector: Exploration 25 January 2008 Uranium Resources plc ("Uranium Resources" or "the Company") AGM Statement Uranium Resources plc, the AIM listed uranium exploration and developmentcompany, held its AGM today and all resolutions were duly passed. At the meeting, Director Ross Warner made the following statement: "During the year we have made considerable progress in advancing our uraniumportfolio in southern Tanzania. Our exploration and development programmes haveprogressed well and results to date demonstrate that there is significantpotential for our licence areas to host an economic uranium deposit. "Our aggressive exploration programme, which recently yielded the discovery oftwo new uranium prospects within the highly prospective Ruvuma project area, iscontinuing at pace. Importantly recent drill results from previously intersecteduranium mineralisation at our flagship Mtonya Project has increased theidentified subsurface uranium to a strike length of 4km. Together these resultsact as further endorsement of the exciting potential of the region, and we lookforward to updating shareholders on our developments in the coming months. "The aim for this year is to grow the Company through the advancement of ourcurrent project portfolio and identifying further targets to expand our assetbase.
