Senior Management Appointment

UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC (LSE AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that Matt Cartwright has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. This is a non-board appointment.

Matt, 53, has been working as a consultant to the Company since July 2014 and has been significantly involved in the operations and recent growth of UKOG's asset portfolio. He has spent over 30 years in the global oil and gas industry, primarily in the areas of operating management, business development, strategic planning, economic evaluation and deployment of new technology. He has worked extensively on major UK and International onshore and offshore projects.

Matt has spent more than 20 years of his career with oil industry majors such as ARCO, BP and Total. He has a First Class engineering degree from Cambridge University.
