Sarantel (LSE:SLG), a leading manufacturer and supplier offiltering antennas for wireless devices is today pleased to announcethat it has signed a memorandum of understanding on outsourcemanufacturing and distribution with Sanmina-SCI. £ Sanmina-SCI (NASDAQ:SANM), is a leading global electronicsmanufacturing services (EMS) company based in San Jose, Californiawhich serves the fastest growing segments of the global ElectronicManufacturing Services (EMS) market. £ According to the MoU Sanmina-SCI will provide Sarantel withprocurement, manufacturing and logistics services from its Singaporefacility. Additionally, Sanmina-SCI will acquire some of Sarantel'smanufacturing assets as the deal progresses but they will not acquireany of Sarantel's buildings or employees. £ This agreement ensures that Sarantel will be well positioned tomeet market demand as it grows.
