Board Change
UK Mail Group plc ("UK Mail" or the "Group") announces that Alec Ross, Group Operations Director, has given notice to the Board that, after 14 years, he intends to leave the Group with effect from 9th September 2011. It has been agreed that he will relinquish his position as a Director with immediate effect.
Mr Ross will continue to work with the Group during this notice period. Thereafter, his responsibilities will be absorbed within the existing senior operational management team.
Guy Buswell, Chief Executive of UK Mail, said:
"Alec has made an outstanding contribution to UK Mail, for which we are very grateful. We fully respect his decision to move on after a long period of service to the Group and, on behalf of the Board, I wish him all the very best in the future".
