Temporary Suspension - Further Update

The Board of Directors of Umuthi wishes to provide shareholders with a further update regarding the temporary suspension from trading in the Company's Ordinary Shares on the Standard Listing segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority.

As announced on 10 June 2021, the FCA temporarily suspended trading in the Company's shares as a result of its concerns regarding some Company shareholders who were involved in a share exchange agreement prior to the Company's Admission to trading, not being able to trade all of their shares. This was due, in some instances, to share trading accounts not having been fully activated. 

Shareholders are referred to recent news announcements by the Financial Conduct Authority regarding a service provider utilised by Umuthi.

The Board wishes to assure shareholders that it has been continuing with its efforts to address the operational issues regarding the shares as raised by the FCA and has applied every effort to facilitate an expeditious restoration.

Any shareholders who may have questions that they need addressed, must please email info@umuthiplc.com to ensure such issues are addressed by management. Management are not in a position to address questions that are deemed inside information as regulated by Market Abuse Regulation Rules.

The Board will keep shareholders appraised of all developments and thank shareholders for their patience and support
