Directorate Change

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Phillip Van Huyssteen as Chief Financial Officer of Umuthi Healthcare Solutions PLC.

Mr Van Huyssteen is a qualified CA (SA) and previously a Senior Manager at Deloitte. He was the Chief Financial Officer since inception of the Africa Healthcare Hospital Group which was later acquired by RH Bophelo Limited and restructured to operate the Groups Hospital assets. He served as CFO and Divisional Director responsible for the management and administration of Hospitals, Pharmacies, Emergency services, Facilities Management, Nursing College and various other investments. He left in 2020 to develop opportunities in Hospital and Pharmacy Information technology and start Pathology Laboratories with the aim to further and improve Healthcare services on the continent.

He replaces Mr Pieter Grimes, who is leaving the Group to pursue other business opportunities. The Board would like to thank Mr Grimes for his contribution.
