Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them.
As previously announced, during 2019 the Board approved the rollout of a Share Purchase Plan (the Plan) for Non-executive Directors and the Chairman of the Company (the Participants) to begin 1 January 2020, whereby a percentage of monthly fees, not exceeding 25%, payable to the Participants would be withheld by the Company for the purpose of purchasing shares in the Company at market price on a quarterly basis during the year. The purchase of shares on behalf of the Participants is made by the Company Secretary on fixed dates during the year. The Participants within the plan have no influence as to the date or the time of purchases made on their behalf.
Accordingly, the persons discharging managerial responsibilities, as set out below, purchased the following ordinary shares of 50p each in U and I Group PLC by way of the Non-executive Share Purchase Plan on 30 June 2020.
