TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATIONΒ ("Toyota")Β hereby announces that, inΒ Toyota'sΒ unconsolidated
financial statements for the second quarter of FY2010 (April 1, 2009 through March 31,Β 2010),
impairment losses were recorded recognizing the loss in value of investment securities and shares
or investments inΒ Toyota'sΒ affiliates, the market value or net asset value of which have declined
considerably. Such recording will not have material impact onΒ Toyota'sΒ consolidated financial
statements.
