Trikona Trinity Capital PLC ("the Company") announces that it was informed on 2 October 2009 that QVT Financial LP and QVT Financial LLP, as investment managers for QVT Fund LP, Quintessence Fund L.P. and an account managed for a third party, are interested in an aggregate amount of 57,761,088 ordinary shares of the Company and are party to 304,240 contracts for difference. In aggregate this represents 58,065,328 reportable financial instruments. On 2 October 2009 this represented 27.59% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital of the Company being 210,432,498 shares.
