Trakm8 Holdings PLC29 January 2007 Embargoed until 0700h, 29 January 2007 TRAKM8 HOLDINGS PLC ("Trakm8" or "the Group") Appointment of Non-Executive Director Trakm8, the AIM-listed designer and developer of licensed GPRS based hardwareand software for the vehicle placement and security market, is pleased toannounce the appointment of John Ferris Watkins as a non-executive director withimmediate effect. John Watkins, 54, has over 25 years' national and international experience as asenior manager in the electronics and engineering industries. He has an MA inEngineering Science from Oxford University. Since 1996, John has been Chairmanand Chief Executive of Omitec Group Ltd, a private equity backed electronics andsoftware engineering company, which supplies automotive diagnostic andin-vehicle electronic equipment to global automotive companies. In that time,John has managed an eight-fold increase in sales to over £20 million in thecurrent financial year. Omitec has won a number of awards including the ProfitTrack 100, Fast Track 100 and two Tech Track 100 awards in the Sunday Times aswell as a 2003 Queen's Award for Enterprise. Prior to joining Omitec, John held a number of senior positions, serving asnon-executive Chairman of RK Group Ltd, a main Board Director and ManagingDirector of the Environmental Division of Solvera Plc, a main Board Director andManaging Director of the Products Division of Benson Group Plc and GroupManaging Director of ISG Ltd. He also has extensive international sales,marketing and acquisition experience.
