Topps Tiles PLC09 February 2006 TOPPS TILES PLC (the "Company") NOTIFICATION OF SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDING The Company received notification on 8 February 2006 from Fidelity InternationalLimited ("FIL") that as at 8 February 2006 FIL and its direct and indirectsubsidiaries had a non-beneficial interest in 13,241,289 ordinary shares of 2.5peach ("Ordinary Shares"), equivalent to 5.84 per cent. of the Company's thenissued share capital. The interest was registered asfollows: State Street Bank and TR Co 1,900,000Brown Bros Harriman and Co 4,050,000 The notifications by FIL and FMR Corp also comprise a notifiable interest of MrEdward C Johnson 3rd, a principal shareholder of both FIL and FMR Corp.
