Board Appointment

The Board of Topps Tiles Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Down to the Board as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 2nd February 2015.

Keith is a chartered accountant and is currently the Group Finance Director of the Go-Ahead Group Plc, and has held this post since March 2011. He was previously a director of JD Wetherspoon plc.

Commenting on Keith's appointment, Michael Jack Chairman said:

"Keith is an excellent appointment for Topps. His combination of financial skills and broad based experience of customer-facing businesses will be of great value to the Board as it shapes Topps future strategic ambitions."

At the same time as he joins the Board, Keith will be appointed as a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

The Board is also pleased to appointed Claire Tiney as Senior Independent Director effective from the 2nd February 2015

Following this appointment, the Board of Topps Tiles Plc will comprise two executive directors, and four non-executive directors.

There are no further details to be disclosed in respect of the requirements of paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules, in relation to the appointment of Keith Down.
