Result of AGM
Tangent is pleased to announce that at its Annual General Meeting, held at 9.00 am today, all resolutions were duly passed by shareholders.
Each of the resolutions was passed by the required majority. The table below sets out the votes cast in respect of each resolution.

In order to comply with the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, Resolution 5 and Resolution 6 were passed on a poll and the Concert Party did not vote on these resolutions. The number of votes validly cast on Resolution 5 and Resolution 6 respectively, represented 35.3 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
If the authority granted by Resolution 8 (Buyback Authority) were exercised in full by the Company and the exercise of all the 2005 Options takes place while no disposals of ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company by any member of the Concert Party took place, the aggregate holding of the Concert Party would increase to 41.0 per cent. from 33.6 per cent.
