Tangent Communications plc ("Tangent" or the "Company")

Exercise of Options

Tangent announces that on 24 March 2014 an employee of the Company exercised 45,000 options under the Tangent unapproved share option scheme. The options have an exercise price of 1 pence per share.

The 45,000 new ordinary shares issued will rank pari passu with the Company's existing ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"). Application has been made for the 45,000 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and trading in such shares is expected to commence on 1 April 2014 ("Admission").

Following Admission, the total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company with voting rights will be 280,889,648.
