Board Changes

The Mission Marketing Group plc ('themission®`, AIM: TMMG), the national marketing communications and advertising group, today announces the appointment to its Board of two new Non Executive Directors, Stephen Boyd and Chris Morris, with effect from today. Further to the announcement of 29 June, Brian Child, Non-Executive director of themission, will take up the position of Chairman of themission following the departure, at the end of December 2009, of Francis Maude to concentrate on his non-business interests. 

Brian is a veteran of the marketing communications sector having served in various capacities at McCann Erickson including UK Group Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of McCann Erickson Manchester and Vice President of McCann Erickson Europe. Brian also serves in non executive director roles in agency and other businesses.

Stephen Boyd is currently Chairman of two AIM-listed companies, Pittards plc and Pure Water plc, in addition to holding a number of other Board positions. Stephen has a broad and extensive base of experience in the UK, Europe, USA and overseas and brings additional depth in corporate finance. 

Chris Morris adds further operational experience to the Board as founder partner of Big Communications Group, bought by themission in 2005 prior to its AIM listing in 2006, where he is now Non-Executive Chairman. Chris has  gained  twenty years' industry knowledge having previously been a director of Cogent, one of the UK's top three regional advertising agencies.

A further announcement regarding those matters to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in respect of the appointments of Stephen Boyd and Chris Morris will be made in due course.
