Board Appointment

The Mission Marketing Group plc ('the missiontm', "the Company", AIM: TMMG), the marketing communications and advertising group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Hanson-Smith to the Board of the missiontm as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Hanson-Smith is a private equity investor with significant operational experience in the business services and media communications industry. In 2006 he co--founded Iceni Capital, an operationally active private equity firm specialising in UK--based business services companies. Prior to Iceni Capital, Julian spent 5 years as a Principal at Lake Capital, a US-based private equity firm, responsible for investment activity in the UK. Before that he was Chief Operating Officer of Lighthouse Global Network, a Lake Capital portfolio company, and was responsible for $200m of revenues in 12 operating companies. In 1986 he co-founded and was the Managing Director of Financial Dynamics (now FTI Consulting), a company he built to become one of Europe's pre-eminent business communications consultancies before it was sold in 1999.

Mr Julian Christopher Hanson-Smith, age 53

Mr Hanson-Smith does not currently hold any ordinary shares in the Company. There are no other disclosures required in relation to Rule 17 or paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.
