Tinopolis PLC01 March 2006 Tinopolis PLC 1 March 2006 Tinopolis Plc ("Tinopolis") Offer by Winghaven Partners Ltd on behalf of Tinopolis Plc for The Television Corporation Plc ('TV Corp') Notice of Compulsory Acquisition of TV Corp Shares As of 1.00 p.m. on 28 February 2006, Tinopolis had received valid acceptances of the Offer in respect of a total of 39,958,690 TV Corp Shares representing approximately 95.9 per cent. of the issued share capital of TV Corp. As Tinopolis has received valid acceptances in respect of over 90 per cent. in value of TV Corp Shares to which the Offer relates, Tinopolis will as soon as practicable give notice to those TV Corp Shareholders who have not accepted the Offer informing them that it will compulsorily acquire their TV Corp Shares by applying sections 428 to 430F of the Companies Act 1985. The Offer will remain open for acceptance by TV Corp Shareholders until furthernotice.
