Board Changes

The Board of Digital Barriers plc ("Digital Barriers", the "Group" or the "Company"), the specialist provider of products and services to the homeland security and specialist defence markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas James Holgate (36) to the Board of Digital Barriers as Group Finance Director.

Mr. Holgate is a Chartered Accountant by training, having started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1997, and has subsequently served in a number of senior finance roles at both small and large corporates.

Nik was until recently Chief Financial Officer of Fjordnet Limited ("Fjord"), the international digital design consultancy, where he was responsible for all aspects of group finance. Prior to Fjord, he was Group Finance Director of i-level, the digital media agency, between January 2009 and May 2010. Nik's first in-house finance role was in a Group reporting role at BSkyB plc in 2000, followed by a move to Aegis Group plc in 2004 where he worked within the Vizeum and Posterscope agency brands, latterly as Group Finance Director. Nik graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in Engineering and Management Studies.

Nik will commence his employment with the Company and assume his position on the Board of Directors on 30 August 2011.
