Buy-back Programme Resumption

This announcement contains inside information as defined in Article 7 of the Market Abuse Regulation 596/2014 and is disclosed in accordance with the Company's obligations under Article 17 of those Regulations.

The board of the Thalassa (the "Board") announces that it will resume the Company's share buy-back programme, which was suspended on 8 January 2019 immediately prior to the Company's announcement of a possible offer for The Local Shopping REIT plc ("LSR"). The last buy-backs of the Company's ordinary shares ("Ordinary Shares") were on 21 December 2018, which were made under a Board authority dated 16 October 2018 to buy back up to £6,000,000 of the Ordinary Shares. As at the date hereof, the Company has purchased 4,606,590 shares under this authority for a total cost of £4,078,669.81.

Following the Company's move to the Main Market and subsequent announcement of its firm intention to make an offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of LSR and the announcement of Thalassa's Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2018, both on 6 February 2019, the Board is pleased to announce that the Company's share buy-back programme will resume with effect from today.

Concurrently, the Board is investigating passporting Thalassa's listing to an EU qualifying exchange in addition to the standard listing segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority.
