Notification of a Transaction of a Director

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.2. (R), the Company was notified on 22 October 2013 that Richard Hope, Group Finance Director, had acquired 236 Ordinary shares of the Company at a price of 608p per share, pursuant to a dividend reinvestment plan. The transaction took place on 22 October.

The shares are registered in the name of Alliance Trust Savings Nominees Limited.

Following the transaction, Richard Hope is interested in 28,005 shares being 0.27% of the issued share capital of the Company.
