Director Changes

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Yip as an Independent Non-executive Director and APAC Workforce Engagement Director. Amy will assume the positions with effect from 1 September 2023. 

Amy has a deep understanding and extensive skills and experience in asset management, banking, insurance, and regulation following a career spanning more than 45 years with global players in China and South-east Asia. She was formerly a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG, Temenos Group AG, Fidelity Funds, and an Executive Director of Reserves Management at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Amy continues to act as an advisor to Vita Green, Hong Kong, and is a founding partner of RAYS Capital Partners Limited, a SFC registered Hong Kong based investment management company specialising in Asian capital markets.

Amy is currently an Independent Non-executive Director and Audit Committee member of Prudential plc, which has dual primary listings on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and the London Stock Exchange. Prudential is an Asia and Africa based life and health insurance provider and subject to a group-wide supervisory framework which is regulated by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority. Amy is also a Non-executive Director and member of the Asia Advisory Board of EFG International AG (including its subsidiary, EFG Bank AG), a Swiss listed and regulated global private banking group offering private banking and asset management services. Amy is also a Non-executive Director of AIG Insurance Hong Kong Limited, which is regulated by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority and a subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. AIG is a global insurance organisation providing insurance and other financial services.

Commenting on Amy Yip's appointment, Richard Berliand, Chair of TP ICAP Group plc, said:

The Company also announces that Edmund Ng, Independent Non-Executive Director, will stand down as a Director of TP ICAP Group plc with effect from 31 October 2023. Commenting on Edmund's departure, Richard Berliand, Chair of TP ICAP Group plc, said:

"The Company would like to thank Edmund for his contribution to the Board during his tenure. The insights, challenge, and advice that he has been able to bring to the debate during his six-year tenure have been much appreciated".

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of Listing Rules 9.6.11R and 9.6.13R.
