Board Appointments

TBC Bank Group PLC ("TBC PLC") is pleased to announce the appointment of Nino (Venera) Suknidze and Rajeev Sawhney as Independent Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect. In line with TBC PLC's "Mirror Board" policy, Ms Suknidze and Mr. Sawhney are also appointed as members of the Supervisory Board of JSC TBC Bank.

Nino Suknidze is a business lawyer, with 18 years of experience on the Georgian market who has built excellent reputation over the years in various areas of practice among Georgian and international clients. Currently, Ms. Suknidze is the managing partner of the law firm Suknidze & Partners LLC and Vice President at the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Between 2017-2020, she served as general counsel at JSC Bank of Georgia. Before joining the bank, she held various positions at Georgian offices of international law firms Dentons and DLA Piper.

Rajeev Sawhney is a corporate growth executive with 40 years of global experience in digital technologies, serving across various industry sectors in Europe, North America and Asia. Currently, Mr. Sawhney serves as Executive Chairman and non-executive director at Oxsight Ltd, an Oxford University spin out. He was formerly a senior advisor to the CEO at Zensar Ltd in the UK and member of the advisory board at Garble Cloud Inc., a cybersecurity company in Silicon Valley, USA. Prior to that, Mr. Sawhney comes with strong operational experience as President of HCL Technologies and Mphasis, a Hewlett Packard.
