Notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Tate & Lyle PLC (the ‘Company’) announces that on 19 August 2016 Nick Hampton, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, exercised 96,681 nil-cost options over ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company (‘Shares’), in accordance with the Restricted Share Award that was granted to him on 18 November 2014, details of which are set out in the Annual Report 2015. 45,600 Shares were sold at 738.50 pence per Share on the London Stock Exchange to cover Mr Hampton’s tax liabilities and sale costs. Mr Hampton retained the remaining Shares and now holds an interest in a total of 71,081 Shares in the Company.
