Notification of transaction by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Tate & Lyle PLC (the ‘Company’) announces that in accordance with the incentive arrangements relating to the recruitment of Melissa Law, President, Global Operations, and Andrew Taylor, President, Innovation and Commercial Development (who both joined the Company in September 2017) a grant of awards over the Company’s ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company (‘Shares’) was made today as detailed in the table below:

The PSP Award is subject to the performance conditions that apply to awards made under the Performance Share Plan 2012 during the year ending 31 March 2018 and accordingly will only vest to the extent that these performance conditions are satisfied by the Company over a three-year performance period which runs from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2020. These criteria are described in the Annual Report 2017. No consideration is payable for the grant or release of the awards.
The notifications below, which have been made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, provide further detail.
