System C Healthcare PLC ("System C"), the provider of specialist IT products and services to the health and social care sectors, announces the resignation of Andrew Coll, Group Finance Director. He will be leaving System C to take up a new role in Qatar early in 2010. 

The Board has commenced a search for his successor. Whilst this process is underway, Thomas Chambers, non executive director at System C and formerly Chief Financial Officer for mobile phone software company Symbian, has been appointed Acting Group Finance Director. He will take up this role in the new year on Andrew Coll's departure.

Andrew joined System C in 2005 and served on the Board as an executive director since that time. He is moving to Qatar to take up the role of Chief Financial Officer for Meeza, a managed IT services and solutions company which is a privately-held joint venture with the Qatar Foundation.

Dr Ian Denley, CEO, said: "On behalf of the Board and the whole of System C, I would like to thank Andrew for his excellent and valued contribution to the growth of the company over the last four years. During this time, he has held full responsibility for our Group finances, managed our transition from UK GAAP to IFRS, and has played a key role in our acquisitions and recent placing. We wish him and his family well in their move to the Middle East."
