SCOTT WILSON APPOINTED BYΒ CROSSRAIL FORΒ PADDINGTONΒ STATION
Scott Wilson Group plc ("Scott Wilson" or "the Group"), the international design and engineering consultancy for the built and natural environments,Β isΒ veryΒ pleased to announce that Crossrail has confirmed its intention to award Design Package C130Β forΒ PaddingtonΒ StationΒ on the Central Section FrameworkΒ to the GroupΒ and isΒ proceeding to contract.
The contract toΒ Scott Wilson is Β£9.8Β millionΒ overΒ a year and a half. ThisΒ contract is in additionΒ toΒ the previous announcements in June on Pudding Mill Lane Portal worth Β£4.15m and Farringdon StationΒ nowΒ worth Β£9.9m.Β A further contract was awarded in July for the design of the bulk power supply to all the stations, portals and shafts of the Central Section Framework with a value of over Β£1m.Β ContinuingΒ work on Crossrail includesΒ On Network Works for Network RailΒ - worthΒ Β£9.8 millionΒ and awarded inΒ October 2008.
