Andash Project Update
Aurum Mining plcΒ (AIM: AUR)Β makes the following updateΒ to the market following theΒ announcement made onΒ 15Β MayΒ 2008.
In the civil case, in which the Company's wholly owned subsidiaries Andash Mining Company and Kaldora Company Limited are named asΒ co-defendants, an unrelatedΒ co-defendant,Β Bulakashu Mining LLC,Β has challenged the jurisdiction of theΒ Bishkek Inter-District CourtΒ in theΒ RepublicΒ ofΒ Kyrgyzstan.Β The proceedings before theΒ Bishkek Inter-District CourtΒ haveΒ thereforeΒ been adjournedΒ pending determination of the jurisdictional issueΒ byΒ a higher court.Β A decision on the jurisdictional issue isΒ notΒ expected before theΒ end of May 2008.
