ITV plc statement regarding STV legal action
ITV plc ("ITV") said today that STV Group plc ("STV") has agreed a wide ranging settlement with ITV and ITV Network over the various ongoing legal actions. All current and proposed legal actions have ceased with immediate effect andΒ the terms of the settlement include an Β£18m payment by STV to ITV to settle the court claims.
Adam Crozier, ITV Chief Executive, said:
"We areΒ very pleased that this long running legal dispute with STV has been settledΒ by way of an Β£18m payment to ITV. We look forward to working closely with STV in the future."
