STV Group plc (the "Company")

NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTOR/PDMR SHAREHOLDING

The Company announces the release of conditional share awards granted on 14 March 2006 under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan to one of its Executive Directors and two Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMRs").

The Company achieved average annual ROCE growth of 12.1% over the three year performance period. Therefore, in accordance with the rules of the LTIP, 13.4% of the shares subject to the award have been released.

Accordingly, the Executive Director and PDMRs listed below have become the legal and beneficial owners of the following ordinary shares of 50p each in the Company.
