Appointment of Non-Executive Director

SThree plc, the global STEM workforce consultancy, is pleased to announce that it will appoint Paula Coughlan as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 30 April 2025, in line with its previously stated plan to recruit a new Non-Executive Director in light of Denise Collis' forthcoming retirement.

Paula is the Chief People, Communication and Sustainability Officer at Currys PLC, a leading omnichannel retailer of technology products and services, operating online and through 715 stores in 6 countries, employing over 24,000 people. 

Before joining Currys, Paula held global and regional senior leadership roles at McDonald's, including Global Chief People Strategy Officer, and Chief People Officer of International Lead and Europe Markets. Prior to that she held a number of leadership positions at PepsiCo.

Paula has extensive experience in managing global transformation programmes and in organisational design. She has been recognised in Retail Week's Top 100 Most Influential and Inspiring Leaders for two years running.

On joining the Board, Paula will also be appointed as a member of the Audit & Risk, Nominations and Remuneration Committees.
