Update re Auditor
Starcom (AIM: STAR), which specialises in the development of wireless solutions for the remote tracking, monitoring and protection of a variety of assets, provides the following update regarding the change to the Company's auditor.
At the Company's last annual general meeting on 17 June 2019, a resolution was passed to appoint Brightman Almagor Zohar & Co. Certified Public Accountants, a Firm in the Deloitte Global Network ("Deloitte Israel"), as the Company's auditor. The Company has subsequently been advised by Deloitte Israel that it will not be able to be appointed as auditor to Starcom. Deloitte Israel has confirmed to the Board of Starcom that they have not identified any issue related to Starcom that has led to this decision.
The board of Starcom is confident that a replacement firm of auditors will be appointed ahead of the audit for the year ending 31 December 2019 and a further announcement will be provided in due course.
