Star Energy Group PLC15 May 2007 15 May 2007 Star Energy Group plc SAYE Option Grants Amendment: This announcement replaces the one issued yesterday at 15:09 underRNS number 5557W to correct a mistake in line four which stated that theexercise price was £174.67 pence instead of 174.67 pence. Star Energy Group plc ("Star Energy" or "the Company"), the gas storage andonshore UK oil and gas E&P company, announces that on 4 May 2007, options over275,333 ordinary shares (0.3% of issued share capital) were granted with anexercise price of 174.67 pence per share under the company's Save As You Earn(SAYE) Option Scheme. Total participants in the 2007 scheme were 85, with a combined total monthlycontribution of £11,350.00. Also included in the grant were Roland Wessel, Chief Executive Officer with5,410 ordinary shares (0.006% of shares in issue) Options granted and ColinJudd, Finance Director, with 3,246 ordinary shares (0.003% of shares in issue)Options granted. The Options for Mr Wessel and Mr Judd will mature and becomeexercisable in 2010.
