Transaction in Own Shares
SCISYS PLC (AIM:SSY), ('SCISYS' or the 'Company') announces that on 22 February 2013, it purchased 28,985 of its ordinary shares of 25p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 69 pence per Ordinary Share pursuant to the share buy-back programme announced on 11 January 2013. These Ordinary Shares will be held in treasury and represent approximately 0.1% of the voting rights attributable to the total Ordinary Shares in issue previous to the purchase.
Following this purchase, the issued share capital of the Company carrying voting rights is 29,016,187 Ordinary Shares. The Company now holds 42,088 Ordinary Shares in treasury which carry no voting rights.
The above figure of 29,016,187 shares should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, SCISYS under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
