Software Radio Technology PLC15 June 2007 SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC L3 Communications starts shipping AIS Aids to Navigation Product Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT") is pleased to announce that L3Communications of the USA has begun shipping its first AIS Aids to Navigation("AtoN") products to customers. The L3 AtoN product is the result of a joint development between SRT and L3using SRT's core AIS technology and development skills. The product will be usedwithin existing AIS networks to provide constant and reliable information onhazards to shipping and also detailed environmental information such as tidesand weather. The product is designed to operate in the most extreme and isolatedlocations such as piers and buoys for years with minimal maintenance. The growing availability of low cost, high performance AIS products frommultiple vendors is stimulating the growth of AIS systems and networks. AtoN isan integral element of such networks.
