DETERMINATION OF RAND DENOMINATED SUBSCRIPTION CONSIDERATION IN TERMS OF THE PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Private placement applicants are referred to the RNS announcement of the Company released earlier today, in terms of which the Company advised that it successfully placed a total of 105,263,158 ordinary shares ("Private Placement Shares"), representing 20% of the Company's current issued share capital (excluding treasury shares), of which 90,008,658 Private Placement Shares were placed on the South African register and the balance onto the United Kingdom register at an issue price of €0.38 cents per share, for an aggregate subscription amount of €40 million.

Private placement applicants that will subscribe for shares on the South African register are hereby advised that the exchange rate for the determination of your Rand denominated subscription consideration shall be ZAR13.74:EUR1, being the closing ZAR:EUR exchange rate, as quoted by Bloomberg, at 17:00 (CAT) today, 28 November 2014.
