Sound Oil, the upstream oil and gas company with assets in Italy and Indonesia, has been notified that Gerry Orbell, the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive, yesterday acquired 1,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 1.4p per share. Following this purchase, Mr Orbell holds 15,513,124 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.74% of the Company's issued share capital.
