AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting of Solid State plc (AIM: SOLI), the AIM listed manufacturer of computing, power and communications products, and value added distributor of electronic components, to be held at 9.30a.m. at 2 Ravensbank Business Park, Hedera Rd, Redditch, B98 9EY, the Chairman will make the following statement:

"The Board is pleased to report a positive start to the current financial year across both the Manufacturing and Value Added Distribution divisions of the business. This foundation gives the Directors confidence in the Company's prospects for the year as a whole.

"Solid State will update the market further in a trading update for the first six months ending 30 September 2018 in the week beginning 15 October 2018."
