Charitable Contribution
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (KS005930, KS005935, SMSN, SMSD) ("SEC") on February 26, 2019 announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the following contribution.
Sponsorship of WorldSkills Kazan 2019
- SEC will provide EUR 1.5 million (approximately KRW 1.95 billion) to WorldSkills Kazan 2019 as a top sponsor in
support of the Organizing Committee of WorldSkills International.
Contribution to Chungnam Samsung Academy
- SEC will contribute KRW 2.99 billion to Chungnam Samsung Academy as a part of its efforts to improve the learning
environment in local schools.
