Charitable Contribution

On 29th April 2015, the BOD of Samsung Electronics approved a donation to the following educational organization.

- KRW 15.1 billion to Sungkyunkwan University

As a responsible corporate citizen, Samsung Electronics seek to participate in addressing the problems faced by communities and enrich the lives of its members through corporate contributions and corporate social responsibility programs.

※Note: Pursuant to the Korean Fair Trade Act, a donator is required to disclose

contributions to charitable organizations if the amount of donation exceeds

KRW5 billion and the recipient party is an affiliated company of the donor.
