Sales Update & Contract Wins
Coms plc. (AIM: COMS), announces further progress in developing its order book as follows:
·; The Retail Sales Division has won three new contracts with two NHS Trusts based in the North and a Police Constabulary based in the South East. These contracts are expected to generate initial revenues of approximately £30k and it underlines the importance of the Coms platform in these sectors.
·; The new In-Direct Sales Division, under the leadership of newly appointed Sales Director Tim Loveday, has been fully staffed and will be operational from 2 April 2013.
·; The Company confirms the successful completion of a £67k contract with an Iranian television talent show where the Coms platform was taking more than 250 simultaneous calls at its peak voting times.
Dave Breith (Coms CEO) states, "Gary Day (Retail Sales Director) is continuing to win important new business for the Company and I am confident that Tim Loveday's newly formed in-direct sales team will be able to follow-up and expand upon the £1m of potential leads he has generated In his first month with the Company. This combined with the additional £97k of additional business highlighted above is indicative of the significant changes that continue to happen in the company"
