Share Buyback
Sylvania (AIM: SLP), the platinum group metals ("PGM") producer and developer with assets in South Africa, announces that the Company has, on 7 June 2023, acquired 75,000 Ordinary Shares of $0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") from the market at an average price of 79.81 pence per Ordinary Share, placed into Treasury pending cancellation.
For the purposes of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, following the purchase of these shares, the Company's issued share capital is 279,000,000 Ordinary Shares. A total of 12,547,061 Ordinary Shares, including 231,600 pending cancellation, are held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in Sylvania is 266,452,939 Ordinary Shares.
